Paul Fornicola Sr., President, Sam & Paul Drywall Inc.

Sam & Paul Drywall Inc. was founded in 1966 by Sam Aquisto & Paul Fornicola Sr.   They were both drywall installers and had a small business that they knew could be bigger. Later, Paul Sr. bought out his partner's interest in the business.

Paul Sr. quickly developed relationships with the major builders and developers in the area, and his business grew with the growth in Ocean, Monmouth and nearby counties.   Eventually, he brought in Paul Jr. as Vice President to Sam & Paul Drywall Inc, and as President of Sam & Paul Industries LLC.

As President of Sam & Paul Drywall Inc, Paul Sr. continues to oversee the growth of the business into new business areas like interior and exterior Custom Painting and Custom Finished Siding in Sam & Paul Industries LLC, and Commercial Construction.

In the past 5 years, the Sam & Paul company has expanded throughout central NJ, eastern PA and throughout the entire Mid-Atlantic Region.   And Sam & Paul's newest business, Sam & Paul Industries, LLC. has as its focus to bring interior and exterior finishing skills and capabilities to homeowners and builders in New Jersey and the central Atlantic area.   Paul Sr. and his wife Marylou reside in Wall Twp, NJ and have 4 grandchildren!   Return to top of Team page

Paul Fornicola Jr., Vice President, Sam & Paul Drywall Inc.
President, Sam & Paul Industries LLC

Paul Jr. worked summers and holidays installing drywall and insulation, so he knows the world of insulation, drywall and finishing from the inside out. In 1993, Paul started working for the company full-time as a Foreman, and then later became Vice President.

Paul Jr. is the Operations Manager for the business today, and works daily with builders and developers. In addition, he is responsible for the company's Business Strategy for growth.   His typical day starts early as he prepares final estimates for major residential developers, ensures that quality standards are met, visits job sites, handles Marketing & Promotions and hires and manages other team members.

Paul Jr. holds a BS in Business Management from Rowan University. He's a sports fan and former linebacker on the football team at Rowan. He currently lives in Wall Twp, NJ. Return to top of Team page

Mark Terry, Commercial Division
Sam & Paul Drywall Inc.

Mark joined Sam & Paul in 1988, and prior to that had years of experience in the construction trades. He was formerly a drywall contractor, became a Foreman with Sam & Paul in 1992, and is now head of the Commercial Division.

Beginning in 2005, Mark leads the team that works on stores, offices, churches, community centers and other commercial-type buildings. For typical projects, Sam & Paul will frame interior walls with metal studs, install insulation and drywall, add acoustic or drywall ceilings and finally paint to refurbish commercial spaces.

Mark rose to the challenge to get the Commercial Division running and up to speed. In his off hours, he enjoys a simple, low-key life with strong neighborhood ties and picnics on weekends. He and his family live in Bayville, NJ. Return to top of Team page

Gary Berkowitz, Insulation Operations, Sam & Paul Drywall Inc.
Custom Painting, Sam & Paul Industries LLC

Gary leads the Custom painting department for Sam & Paul Industries and the Insulation department Sam & Paul Drywall Inc. He reviews and measures insulation, drywall and custom painting projects and prepares estimates for builders, developers, homeowners and interior/exterior custom finishing company clients.

Gary manages the Insulation, Drywall and Custom Painting crews that do interior finishing.

As the Sam & Paul Sales Representative for Homeowner business, he measures and estimates insulation, drywall and painting quotes for private homeowner projects for new construction and additions & renovations.

He also handles work scheduling and keeps track of models, options and materials requirements for various builder developments. Gary joined Sam & Paul in 1997, from a previous career in the medical field. Gary and his family live in Shark River Hills, NJ.   Return to top of Team page
