Sustainability Involvement

SAMPAUL Contracting, Inc. prioritizes sustainability to minimize energy use and negative environmental impact. Whether our clients pursue sustainability for LEED certification, economical savings or environmental responsibility, SamPaul’s integrated services help realize sustainability goals in the truest form – from design through construction.

An integral part of our preconstruction and construction process, green building starts early in the project, beginning with early identification and selection of green materials and building products and continues throughout construction and LEED certification.

SAMPAUL’s history of building some of the most sustainable buildings in the country is attributed to the continued commitment of the team in supporting a diverse culture of ideas, research, education, and community involvement.

Sustainability Professionals

SAMPAUL Contracting, Inc. is a member of the US Green Building Council (USGBC.) The U.S. Green Building Council is the nation’s leading coalition of corporations, builders, universities, federal and local agencies, and nonprofit organizations working together to promote buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work. USGBC brings together leaders from every sector of the building industry to advance market transformation.

Sustainable Integration

Waste and inefficiency are huge problems in the construction industry and are unsustainable in terms of the environment and the economy. A large portion of this inefficiency is due to site rework caused by poorly coordinated working drawing sets. Every change order that costs the owner, but doesn’t add to the project dollar value, results in wasted resources. And every wasted move on a job site is wasted energy and materials, potentially adding to the waste stream. SAMPAUL works at the heart of this problem by eliminating the source of the problem – documents that are inconsistent – replacing them with complete, coordinated ones.
